SUMMER CAMP_WEEK 2Sailor Girls Summer Camp Players and Parents,

Thank you for making our summer camp such a huge success! This summer, we doubled the number of players who took the field in 2012 and hosted twice as many incoming freshmen than we did the previous year. With new players picking up sticks each season, the Sailor program is growing more and more competitive. The future is bright for NHHS girls’ lacrosse because of players like you.

We hope you are squeezing the most out of your last days of the summer. As you prepare for the fall, plan to take advantage of every opportunity to pick up your stick and get on the field:

SUMMER CAMP_WEEK 1LACROSSE PE: The class will be during 8th period, beginning in the first week of school. Coach Armstrong has provided a list of eligible players to the counseling office. You just need to request that your counselor place you in 8th period Lacrosse PE.

FALL LEAGUE: We will enter at least one team into the OC fall league. Games will be played October 12, October 19th, November 9th, November 16th and November 23rd. Mark your calendars now! More information will follow

PRE-SEASON NOVEMBER 12: We are scheduled to begin pre-season on November 12. We will meet on most days that school is in session.

Note: In-season school sports take precedence over off-season play.

Also, two outstanding coaches will be hosting a series of drop-in clinics. Here is the information:

$10 NIGHTS :: September 16-20
ABOUT :: Crista + LC will be hosting 2 sessions per evening on the week of 9/16 open to all players. We will be holding FITNESS, STICKWORK, RECRUITING, + PICK-UP sessions.
WHO :: Open to ALL players in Orange County + surrounding areas.
COST :: $10 per night (pay on site)
LOCATION:: TBA (OC field locations)

We will continue to send you updates with information about clinics, clubs, and tournaments. If you ever hear about a good chance to play, forward it to me and I’ll get it out to everyone.

Finally, if you are a parent/guardian who would like to get involved on the Booster Board, talk to me or the Booster Board president, Shannon McCormack. We are already developing plans to expand the program for 2013-14, and we’d love for you to join us!
